I have put a new release of ChessDB on Sourceforge.

Major changes are:

* Connects to ICC to download games !! I believe this is a feature that
not even ChessBase has. Some information about this is at:

http://chessdb.sourceforge.net/tutorial/icc-fics-retriveal.php

I think this can be a very useful way of getting played by people of
your own ability, or those of people you teach. Whilst studying the
games of GMs is useful, there is a lot to be gained by studying games
played by people of your own level too. (As a matter of interest, is
anyone reading these lists a GM??)

* Larger pieces, upto 90 pixels, supplied to me by Stuart Owen.

* You can import multiple PGN files contained in the one directory,
without importing the files individually, or using 'cat' (UNIX) or
'copy' (Windows) to make a large PGN first.

* Increased the size of the clipbase (in memory database) from 50,000
games to 2 million games.

There is a choice of 4 files.

1) Full Windows Installation (36 MB)
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/chessdb/ChessDB-with-4pieceEGTB-3.6.14.exe

2) Minimal Windows Installation (6.5 MB)
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/chessdb/ChessDB-3.6.14.exe

3) Source code for UNIX/Linux people (8,3 MB)
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/chessdb/ChessDB-3.6.14.tar.gz

The full Windows install includes the 3 AND the 4-piece endgame tablebases.

The UNIX tarball and minimal Windows installation both include the
3-piece tablebases but do NOT include in the 4-piece ones.

The 4-piece tablebases are available separately at
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/chessdb/4-piece-tablebases.zip

Let me knnow if you have any problems.
