If the build fails just for Crafty, everything is ok. If there are 
errors elsewhere, it is more problematic. So do you see a tkscid file in 
your compilation directory ?
If yes, this is a simple PATH problem. If not, the compilation did not 
succeed. In that case, you have to look at error messages.

Do you have Tcl Tk and devel packages installed ? These should certainly 
suffice.

The question is : is it possible to use Tcl Tk without X11 ? If so, you 
don't need X11. Maybe TclTkAqua is a project trying to port Tcl Tk to 
native Carbon Mac UI (without X11), but I personaly don't know Mac world.
