Hi,

I am looking to improve my chess skills using Scid. I haven't played
chess for a long time and am wondering what features of Scid I can use
to help me improve my game. I have tried playing a tactical game
against a 1200 ELO, which is OK, but having moves suggested to you
(the highlighting on the board when you hover over a piece) is quite
annoying as you can just do them instead of thinking about the move
you want to take. Is there a way to turn this off? Also is there a way
to practice opening sequences or anything like that.

Any suggestions or ideas are much appreciated.

Thanks,

Rob Quill
