Well actually the font currently used is barely readable at
all. Its rendered very poorly on my display. (Wrong
Tk-setting on my side??)
BTW: I use a bitmapped font for menues etc. which is
perfectly readble even on small sizes. Acutally, I'd suggest
to everyone to use a bitmapped font in proper size for this
stuff. The font of my choice is "sgi Screen", but also
"Terminus", "Terminal" or "POWtty" are pretty good. Just
some alternatives as its not that easy to get the hands on
sgi Screen (plus it has the drawback of not beeing UTF, and
not even containing ASCII-lineart. Well, it's from SGI ;)

BTW: it would be a good thing if scid could reuse the .icsrc
(I'd suggest that file as xboard uses it as well and one
could share config that way) or at least store fics config.
General form of .icsrc is:
loginname
password
commands to send to fics
Where the commands ot send are one command per line each.
Especially the latter comes in quite handy, e.g. if you want
to see which games are currently relayed you could just add
a "tell relay listgames" there or one could automagically
send a "set gin 0" and "set seek 0" to the server.
