Well, let me be a bit heretical. Don't we have a forum yet?
I mean, I'd consider this mailinglist a forum. Everybody can
join the discussion, ideas as well as bug report or whatever
concerning scid is welcome here, hence, what would be the
target of another platform?

Addtionally, I admit, if you suggest some of these web
forums floating arround, I'm really no friend of them.
Mailinglists are much simpler to handle, I do not need to
log in, get all messages, can read and answer and do not
need to click here and there and ...

Hm, ok, as general knowledge decreases exponentially, maybe
subscribing to a mailinglist is a technical barrier these
days. <scnr> ;)

Agree, at least if such a thing should be created, it
should definitely be located close to the scid sites. I did
never check into details whas sf offers in that regard.

On the other hand, if the community here comes to the
conclusion that we need one, it might be a better place to
locate it on a chess related site, as this would at least
offer it directly to the target group. Some chess server
might suite there well, being it FICS or whatever.

Personally, I'm happy with this list and have not the
capacity to set up one.
