The engine I use is UCI. (Rybka 2.3.2a).
The same is true for other UCI engines (Toga II for example).
They both behave differently under 3.6.24 than they do under 3.6.23 but I have
no idea why.
Thanks for your thoughts on this.
Roy

I had something like this in mind :

That may be overkill, tho.

What engine do you use ? UCI or xboard ?

2008/6/22 Roy Brunjes <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:
I tried to post screen shots to show the differences but that may not make it
to the rest of you (some sort of moderator action may be needed I think). So,
here are the differences (typed by hand):
3.6.24 shows this (only one line of output in the analysis window) for a 13 ply
search:
13 +0.13 Nf3 Nc6 g3 Nf6 Bg5 d5 O-O d4 d3 h5 Bg5 Qd6
3.6.23 shows this for a search:
13 +0.11 Nc3 Nf6 Nf3 e6 e4 Nc6 <etc>
13 +0.12 d4 Nf6 Nc3 e6 Nf3 Bb4 <etc>
14 +0.11 d4 Nf6 Nc3 e6 Nf4 Bb4 <etc>
That is different! Is there a way to make .24 work like .23?
Thanks!
Roy

Hi,
Shane Hudson added me as admin at SF. So let's say bye to Scid2 at SF (I will
delete the project).
So I will be able to update CVS there, but some sections need work :
- Scid's home page (mine at free.fr is not a model) ;
- download section, which is a bit trickier than Google's code.
So who would like to help and is used to SF ?
Pascal
