ok shame on me, found that on my own right after posting.
Sorry, there where too many errormessages ;-)

make install worked after that ...

And after =
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/scid> ./scid
./scid: line 21: exec: tkscid: not found

and changing that line from =
exec tkscid "$0" "$@"
to =
exec ./tkscid "$0" "$@"

./scid works :-)

I don't know, Suse is the only distro i know until now, i use it
since 8.1 - as second system on dualboot then - ,  since opensuse
10.3 as main system - goodbye Windows ... ;-)

What is your distro ?
