Hi!
It seems that the promotion window hookes off any events. Say, I want to
play f8=Q, this is possible by the keyboard combination f8Q, but it is
not possible with the mouse as the promotion window seems to pop up
somewhere invisible (at least in classic mode). I can minimize Scid and
bring it back which will also bring the promotion window to front and
then choose the Q. (The latter was not possible in yestereves version
either maybe the diff between those gives a clue?)
Current CVS seems to ignore board size settings (classic mode) upon
startup. The board is always scaled to size 1.
The new calculation of the board size in tabbed mode seems to ignore
board sizes beyond 9. Probably cause it has to reduce the height of the
info area to scale beyond that? I would do that manually, but the info
area is not scalable vertically except by reducing the overall windows
height.
Wouldn't calculation of the board size also make sense in classic mode?
Thanks for the fix concerning info area, and also the geometry manager
seems totally back to work in classic mode.
BTW: It took me a while to understand the left/right/top/bottom meaning
of the tab menus, as they actually refer to stacked tabs only. Maybe it
would be more intuitive if these items also move a tab
left/right/top/bottom of the adjacent tab area if they do not belong to
a stack of tabs.
BTW/2: german translations added.
