Hi Mario, they are compiled for debian "sid" and will be OK for "lenny" also. I am sorry to have no Ubuntu ready to do the package there, but you just need to: Get the files: scid_3.7.cvs20081202.orig.tar.gz scid_3.7.cvs20081202-1.diff.gz then change into the directory and do: % dpkg-source -x scid_3.7.cvs20081202-1.dsc % cd scid-3.7.cvs20081202/ % dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot And that will build a package suitable for your distro. You can install then with dpkg -i packagename (as root). If there is any error, I made something wrong with the dependencys, let me know.
