This is another reason why I'd suggest to hook up with
geometry manager. Then, the window manager is free to set
size and position for the initial window and the user can
scale it to his liking it's (re)stored. I think, hardcoded
sizes and positions should be avoided. (IMHO!)
I think, I could add this to cvs, in case.
BTW: Gnome would require +26.
