1) Start scid 2) Open a database 3) Open the tree for this database 4) From the tree tab title caret, select Help/Tree Help 5) Do _not_ close the Help window 6) From the tree tab title caret, select File/Fill Cache File A tcl exception is thrown and the tree thread is basically lost. Certainly this should be avoided at all times. Besides, I prefer to keep the help dialog open indeed...
