Hi,
Is there an option to have SCID recommend a best move? Using the
Coach option will warn if a move is potentially not a good one,
although I'm not sure I understand the difference between a "bad,"
"dubious," and "weak" move, but it doesn't suggest a best move. The
option to "Show Suggested Moves" seems to simply suggest a move
for each piece, but does not suggest the single best move for the
current position. I am learning to play chess and the area where I seem
to have a lot of trouble is finding the best move and understanding
whyone is a better move than the one I tried initially. Also, where can
I find a downloadable file of best move problems for use with SCID.
Thanks.
