Thank you very much for your help, i got the idea. Yes, opening a scidbase and editing the pgn in it works fine.
Now another question: I have added a variation in a scidbase. Now, in the "Edit" menu, the 3 items "Delete Variation", "Make First Variation" and "Promote Variation to Main Line" are greyed out. What am i doing wrong?
