Dear friends,

I just saw this comment on the chess.com equipment forum:

*Stockfish 1.5 (derivative of Glaurung) is now the undisputed king of the
open source engines. The Fruit family (e.g. Toga etc) has finally been
dethroned. Stockfish and Thinker are my two favorite practice partners --
they both have unique and interesting styles that are a joy to play.*

Does anybody here have any experience with these engines? Has anybody
succeeded in installing them on a GNU/Linux box?

Thanks!
