You should be able to use it already as it is meant to be UCI
compatible. (ProDeo seems to have a bit a strange idea about UCI, however.)
Did you try to configure it as an engine? On what platform? Windows?
There it should actually work out of the box. What's your error message?
I found that ProDeo seems not to run well in wine, at least I
experienced quite a bunch of crashes here.
