There is a compact version of Scid : Scid Pocket (only for Windows
Mobile 5 and over). It is designed to fit in VGA and QVGA screens.
800x480 is not a common resolution and to fit Scid in this would mean
some UI adaptations : the source code is available if one feels
courageous enough.

Done with Pocket Scid, no plan for Scid.

If you connect to Linux, you can do this. On Windows XP, I don't know.

No, because what you're asking for is done by the window manager, not
Scid (I don't know any Tk command to go to fullscreen mode).
