Am I correct? You are correct. There is some preliminary try in the code provided by Israel, but there is a very strange error I currently blame on Tcl: once you say "Save image" you get a popup box that covers the main window and this box results, in a black rectangle in your screenshot. We invested quite some work to fix this but it didn't work out yet nor did we find any working example on the net. > If so, I would like to know if there would an easy way to connect Scid > with imaging facilities (say in PNG format). Well, there're some tools on the web that allow you to paste FEN notation to get a board displayed. E.g. http://webchess.freehostia.com/diag/index.php?lang=english You could tweak the URL a bit and come up eg. with something like http://webchess.freehostia.com/diag/chessdiag.php?theme=smart&size=large&fen= where you just have to add the FEN at the end. Using Firefox' keyword function you could create a bookmark for this copy position from Scid and enter something like fen <shift-ins> into the toolbar. cu Alexander ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Learn how Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) One Node allows customers to consolidate database storage, standardize their database environment, and, should the need arise, upgrade to a full multi-node Oracle RAC database without downtime or disruption http://p.sf.net/sfu/oracle-sfdevnl _______________________________________________ Scid-users mailing list Scid-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/scid-users
