Hi Alexander,

I'd like to continue this thread a bit, after the delay.

Just a heads up that Drag & Drop from the Finder doesn't seem to
work, on my setup anyway. I tried dragging a PGN file from the
Finder to a number of places on the main Scid Window (?),
without success. Double-clicking the file does work (after
setting Scid as the default app for PGNs, of course). And, see
note below on Scid's File-Open menu item.

OK, I see now. The database switcher can show Scid databases
AND pgn databases, and, within the switcher, you can drag a PGN
database to a Scid database. Perfect.

There might be a little bug (or feature request?):

I can open a file in Scid by double-clicking it in the
Finder (but
not dragging it, as mentioned, above), BUT Scid's File-Open
menu item
dialog Disables PGNs in its list of files - so there seems
to be No
Way to open a PGN from within Scid.

I hope these reports are useful to the contributors.

Thanks again for your help, Alexander

Steve
