Hi all,

I just compiled Scid 4.5.2 without any errors. But now, when trying to
run the executable from the command line, I get the following error message:

couldn't read directory "/usr/local/share/scid/img/pieces/": permission
denied
     while executing
"glob -directory $dname *"
     (procedure "InitImg" line 7)
     invoked from within
"InitImg"
     (file "/usr/local/bin/scid" line 1312)

In fact I can get the Scid executable running if I call it with the sudo
command, thus acting as superuser. But with the permissions of a normal
user I can't.

I'm working on a 64bit-machine here. Calling uname -a gives the
following result:

Linux triton 3.5.0-41-generic #64-Ubuntu SMP Wed Sep 11 15:36:42 UTC
2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Any suggestions?
Thanks a lot,
Lothar
