I want to go on record by saying that this ongoing schism between SCID and
SCIDvsPC is a disgrace to open source.
I've been involved in a lot of open source projects and the infighting in
this community is sad. It people could set aside their egos, we would all
be much better off. If you wonder why people aren't more actively
contributing to these codebases, help files, etc, think about how your
political infighting, insults, etc affect people's desire to be involved. I
know it is a complete turn-off to me and is a major reason why I am only a
consumer of SCID/SCIDvsPC instead of an active contributor.
