I was exploring SCID's options menu and ran into this error message:
I selected the following menus: Options|Game Information|Configure Informant
Values
Error Msg Appears:can not find channel named "stderr"can not find channel named
"stderr" while executing"puts stderr 9" (procedure "configInformant" line 23)
invoked from within"configInformant" (menu invoke)
followed by the appearance of a blank window with the title bar labelled
"Configure Informant"
Besides of the fact this produces an error message, what is this option for?
