I've had a look at that code but I've never used TCL and I know nothing about SCID's internal architecture, so I wasn't able to make much sense of it. However, logically, I can't see that it would be *so* difficult to hack something together. If I were to do this by hand, I would set up the game, start up the engine, set the multi-PV to the desired level, and then run it for, say, 30 seconds, hit the "Add All Variations", hit the "Next Move" button, and repeat until the end of the game. I see that there's a routine for addAllVariations in analysis.tcl. I assume there's a routine somewhere for the "Next Move" button as well. Is there any way to run these two routines on a running SCID window every 30 seconds, even if it's from an external console script? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Comprehensive Server Monitoring with Site24x7.
