So I select a game and left-click the first move of the game. Then I use the
RT-arrow to advance the game until I come to a variation. At this point, I
click on the first move of the variation and then I can use the RT-arrow key to
advance through the variation.
1. Is the there a keyboard shortcut to drop into a variation? (as of now, the
only way I know is to use the mouse; left-click the move)
2. When I want to go in reverse I use the LT-arrow, but when I go beyond the
first move of the variation, SCID shows the correct board, but the Notation
window bounces back to the first ply. Can this be avoided? Is this the intended
behavior, bringing me back to the first move of the game? Why doesn't it exit
gracefully to the last/nearest move?
3. If I want to exit a variation and return to the game (prior to the
exploration of the variation), I am left-clicking the previous game move to
return to game play. Is there a keyboard shortcut to go back to the game moves
without having to use a mouse?
