I've sent this email to Karol a few days ago:
Hello Karol,
Your wish has been fulfilled:
> Removed alt+c and alt+s binding in "comment" window
http://sourceforge.net/p/scid/code/ci/a635acf62e3b3259f1fb3772f07ffd6397352e88/
Fulvio has been pushing many other modifications to the code lately.
Thank you for your feedback,
***
He asked me how to include these changes, and I told him this:
You can try the latest changes by getting the Git code:
http://sourceforge.net/p/scid/code/ci/master/tree/
The Got command is at the top.
Compile the code using your favorite compiler.
If all you need is to change the Tcl code, edit the file like Fulvio did. I
don't think you need to compile Tcl changes. It's an interpreted language.
***
Karol succeeded in recompiling the application. Success!
However, I have a question:
Would it have been possible only to replace the relevant files
(maint.tcl, win.tcl,
and comment.tcl) and restart SCID without recompilation?
Thanks!
Benoit
