Hello everyone, initially I just intended to correct the rating problem with games after 2012, but I found that the old code was too slow and I ended up rewriting it. Then I did some test to be sure that the code worked correctly, comparing it with the results of the old code. Unfortunately I discovered that the old code did not work well. For example a game "Wen Yang" against "Wang Yue" played in 07/26/2014. The elo is wrong (2581,2717 instead of 2590,2715) but this was expected. What I did not expect is that he wanted to correct "Wen Yang" with "Yang, Yuan-Han".
I think the spelling feature is super-cool, but only if works flawlessly. That's why i would ask userswho are familiar with the spelling functions if they can test the latest code. I also added a way to verify spellcheking files. Configuring Scid with: ./configure DEBUG="- DSPELLCHKVALIDATE" For example when loading spelling.ssp will automatically creates a file spelling.ssp.validate with the problems encountered in the file.
