I've committed revision #288 which provides creating and reading archives (with ending .scv). This facilitates the shipment of databases through the internet, because it is a single file instead of several ones. Furthermore archives facilitates to archive snapshots of any database, the archive format does not depend on the format of the database. The compression rate of an archive is about 30%. Opening an archive will extract the contained databases, but the archive will not be deleted automatically. Probably the latter behavior should change. -- Gregor Cramer email: <gcra...@gmx.net>
