One of the testers has a curious focus problem with Scidb,
version r1000:

---------------------------------------------------------------

Game selecting in game list on the "Database" tab

Requires 2 double-clicks to select a game the first time
the panel is used. After that one double-click is all that
  is required.

It looks like the first [double-]click activates the panel
while the second select the game. However the very first
click is given visual feedback showing the game as
highlighted but not selected i.e. row background colour
(relative to normal background) changes and column boundaries
  are shown

  Behaviour occurs when

    focus returns from another application
on return to "database" window from "board" window
on change of focus from panels on the "database" window
(e.g. after clicking on file panel)

---------------------------------------------------------------

Due to his report this problem occurs with XFCE, but now with
Xfwm. He is working with ArchLinux. Does anybody has similar
problems? Is anybody using XFCE, or the ArchLinux distribution?
And if so, is Scidb working properly? Does anybody has an idea
about this problem?

On my Ubuntu 12.04 XFCE works fine, so I cannot reproduce this.

Another tester has also an important problem under Linux Mint.
It seems that double click is not working at all. So he cannot
open a game with double click.

Cheers,
Gregor

PS: I'm still working on version r1001. Has a lot of new, and
important features. The test of this version is very time
consuming, so it takes some time until next release.
