I'm sure most of you have heard of PortableApps.com. Have you ever
discussed submitting Scidb to PortableApps.com? I think it's a great idea
not only because it'll make Scidb more practical and mobile but also
because it will increase it's exposure and get introduced even to people
who are not looking for a chess program or chess database software, and so,
making it more popular. So far the chess apps on Portable Apps include:

Brutal Chess Portable<http://portableapps.com/apps/games/brutal_chess_portable>-
3d chess
Lucas Chess Portable<http://portableapps.com/apps/games/lucas-chess-portable>-
chess trainer and player
Project Invincible
Portable<http://portableapps.com/apps/games/project-invincible-portable>-
3D chess with configurable AI
WinBoard Chess Portable<http://portableapps.com/apps/games/winboard_portable>-
advanced chess engine

It looks like something's missing in that list, don't you think? Scid.

And here's the developers link:

On a secondary level, his will also be one big advantage over Chessbase.
