I've checked in r1162 with an update of the revised Tk Text Widget, and a fix in game editor. This new version is very stable (except the problem below), and it is passing all test cases (about 1800).
Carlos currently is packaging Scidb, but we have a severe problem with the revised text widget, but only under certain - still unknown - conditions. Carlos and I are working on a solution. Does anyone else has problems like missing pieces in game editor?
