Ok - I have removed the 2000 limit and made spellchecks interruptible. BTW, Franz had not even updated Magnus as the new world champ! Here (hopefully) is the URL for the updated spelling file. Try right-clicking and save-as https://sourceforge.net/p/scidvspc/code/2303/tree//spelling.ssp Steve
