I'm not sure anyone here knows much about these features.
There has been no changes since 4.14 either.
Maybe check your start-up window for any error messages ??
Particularly ,
- http package 2.7.13 found
- tDOM package not found, disabling internal Xfcc support

If no-one else can help, you could try talkchess, as
I think there are some users of XFCC there.

The email window is not tested/working by anyone afaik and may get removed
at some stage.
