I have included Richard's large/themed Merida1 pieces in subversion if anyone would like to try them out. I think it's useful to have at least one large/high-quality piece set.
Richard also reports on his xubuntu 15.10 system that the default font (TeX Gyre Heros) does not space properly in the database switcher (the bottom line of text is cut off). But I installed the same font on mint17 and it works fine. If any other people have the same problem , could they please mail me, and say what operating system they run. cheers
