The RFP's for Scientific Literacy Grants will be available soon (probably the second week of February) and that means it is also time to start planning evaluation of the proposals. Every year we try to increase the pool of people whom we can call on to take part in this very important process. If you have read before, then you will receive an invitation, but if you haven't read and would like to receive an invitation please respond to this email. Also if you would like to recommend someone to be a reader, please email their name, position, area of interest, address, and email information. I do not have dates for the evaluation yet -- the most information that I can give you at this time is that it will take place in April and that we are avoiding the dates around Easter. We will have all of the pertinent information in the invitation, but we are currently searching for meeting facilities in central Illinois.
