Walter Payton College Prep High School is a multicultural community where students are
encouraged to actively participate in their own learning. We are seeking a creative
individual who is familiar with technology and will provide laboratory based
experiences that encourage students to explore their environment, ask questions, and
interpret data. The person we seed is interested and able to work with other science
teachers in making connections throughout the Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Earth
Science curriculum. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of teaching
experience and is involved in the local and national educational community. A
Master's degree and experience teaching Advanced Placement Chemistry would be a plus.
