I believe that UIC had a program to train physics and chemistry teachers,
but I'm not sure if it's still funded. I don't know credit and course
specifics; you can try the Office of Teacher Recertification at CPS or the
CPS Human Resources and they may be able to help you. Both have sites on the
CPS web site.
