Journey Into Amazing Caves - Omnimax film

Join Nancy Aulenbach and Dr. Hazel Barton, two accomplished expert
cavers, as they explore ice caves in Greenland and underwater caves in
the jungles of Mexico, looking for clues to the Earth's past and the
microorganisms that inhabit its most extreme environments.

the world-renowned National Time Museum collection. In addition to a
stunning display of rare timekeepers, the exhibit explores the

culture. Join us for spirited performances and dynamic workshops.

This hands-on, body-on exhibit lets you test your backhand, sprint

Science Snoozeums

Sleep overnight in Chicago's favorite hands-on museum and explore the
Museum after dark. Curl up in your sleeping bag and dream of
submarines, coal mines, fairy castles and trains. Science Snoozeum is
designed especially for organized youth groups of at least 10

Early Rising Scientists
April 25 through May 23 and July 10 through Aug 1
Tuesday and Wednesday mornings 9:30 to 11:00 a.m.

Early Rising Scientists is a drop-in program for children ages 2-4 and
their caregivers. The program offers 45 minutes of exploration time
in the Idea Factory exhibit and then 45 minutes for a facilitated
session, which includes reading a science-related story and engaging
in hands-on activities based on a weekly science theme. Caregivers
leave each session with an extension activity to do at home. Free
with Museum admission.
