One of our Science teachers recently discovered that we had some mercury thermometers. The teacher noticed that a couple of them were broken. He noted that none of the mercury had escaped. How should their disposal best be handled? Personally, I would like to dispose of all of them and replace them with environmentally safer thermometers.
