The Structure of Life is a new science education booklet published by the
National Institute of General Medical Sciences, a component of the National
Institutes of Health. It explains how structural biology provides insight
into health and diseases and is useful in designing new drugs. It also
features "student snapshots" designed to inspire young people to consider
careers in biomedical research.

Other free science education booklets in the same series covers genetics (
Genetics Basics), chemistry and biochemistry (The Chemistry of Health), cell
biology (Inside the Cell), and pharmacology (Medicines by Design).
