Puppet does scale, even up to many 10k of servers, but you need more than one instance to serve this amount of servers and you need to optimize the configuration for performance (PuppetDB, Passenger, ...). But large scale installations in general are possible with Puppet and pretty sure, with others as well. Regards, Thomas -- Linux ... enjoy the ride!
