Hi Yogi,

If you are familiar with kickstart scripts, it should be hopefully easy to understand the SL LiveCD scripts and adapt them for you needs. Please note that the SL LiveCD scripts are modular. With livecd-tools you don't create a LiveCD from a running system. A LiveCD is created similar to the procedure that is used to install automatically a system with kickstart.
I recommend that you have all software available over repos. For example
sl65-live-NONPAE.ks is used to replace the standard SL kernel with kernel-lt of
elrepo.

More info can be found here:

Hi -

I develop a real-time electrophysiology platform (rtxi.org <http://rtxi.org>) using scientific linux with kernel 3.8 and the real-time layer, Xenomai (xenomai.org <http://xenomai.org>).

I would like to create a LiveCD of my system to make it easier for users to adopt, however am having trouble. The standard scripts only make LiveCDs of the stocks Scientific Linux distribution+kernel.

Any suggestions on how to accomplish this?

Thank you in advance!

Yogi
