Good day,
I'm running SL6.5 on a Dell T110 II (Xeon E3-1230)
I have installed Fedora 20 in VM and wanted to switch from vnc to spice. Spice requires qxl which I have installed. However, when I
tried to switch it lets me create a spice graphics device, but when it try to create a qxl video device, it only shows me
"cirrus", "default", "vga", "vmvga" or "xen". The I get "unsupported
configuration: non-primary video device must be type 'qxl'
I googled and saw a Red Hat bug related to VM cloning but I am not cloning a VM.
Any pointers are appreciated.
Strange, worked here for me. Have you restarted libvirtd since installing
spice-server on the host? What version of qemu-kvm?
