Hi, there - persistent-net.rules is a clever scheme to prevent your computer 
from booting after you replace a burned out motherboard. To disable it, run:


touch /etc/udev/rules.d/75-persistent-net-generator.rules
rm /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules
