Hi larry,
Feeling sad fr your SL 7 exp. Yes, there are lots of internal changes in 7
comparing 6 or prior. So, my request is first check the new changes made in
7, and if you want to taste it- only thn try it.systemd and others are new,
it need some time to become popular. I dont like to play with my servers
and so they are on SL6.x, and desktops are on SL7 and fedora 20/22. In my
case SL 7 running fine with good multimedia support via gstreamer. Its
installion is now centralized- users dont have to go in serial way rather
they can select any component in any order.
Partitions are fr novice users use auto and you dont have to bother about
multiple partitions, and fr experts they can manage what they need.
