Hi,

I resolved my problem by downloading a full dvd iso and performing a local
install (i.e. I stored the iso locally on the host computer) That way I get the
install programs running and could configure a static IP configuration.

Later I found out, that the VM could not contact the internet world through the
bridge (br0) on the host for some reason, I couldn’t resolve yet. Never had
this type of problem before, and the other VM’s running on that host have no
issue with internet access.

Best
Peter
