There's a known issue with dependencies that they say is fixed if you upgrade to lvm2-libs-2.02.111 or later. I had the problem on a 6.2 machine earlier today, but a 6.4 machine worked ok just now, updating to lvm2-libs.i686 0:2.02.143-12.el6.

 Can I have you run:

 yum clean expire-cache

 and try again?

Sure but it does'nt help (nor does "yum clean all").

I forgot to mention that this is SL6.5 x86_64

Thanks

PS: This is not a show stopper for performing the security updates
(kernel, etc.) as the --skip-broken works. I have to leave shortly
and will continue next week.
