On a SL7.5 system, I've got, according to yum: Package freeipmi-1.2.9-8.el7.x86_64 already installed and latest version However, nut from epel wants the next version up, so auto updates are broken. I do see in the ftp site that it is here: linux/scientific/7.5/x86_64/os/Packages/freeipmi-1.5.7-2.el7.i686.rpm (begining of SL ftp URL removed to prevent ProofPoint mangling). I'll happily install it by hand: but am curious as to why the index still thinks the previous version is the one to be using? I don't want to take a mis-step into dependancy hell. thanks, Alec -- Alec Habig University of Minnesota Duluth Dept. of Physics and Astronomy [email protected] https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__neutrino.d.umn.edu_-7Ehabig_&d=DwIBAw&c=gRgGjJ3BkIsb5y6s49QqsA&r=gd8BzeSQcySVxr0gDWSEbN-P-pgDXkdyCtaMqdCgPPdW1cyL5RIpaIYrCn8C5x2A&m=H9l27a3grZWEx7G5tmfBR4MXB6sAtYSCP2bo2tlHWig&s=GVxHSXAYiKqey0WBAsb6sQ8dLKfY-N7m5eyqnqSNbig&e=
