That's great! It seems to be working on my systems too. The problem
appears to be display-size related, as it was only affecting my systems
with full HD monitors, and not those with smaller monitors. However,
they were all getting the following error before the fix:
kernel: [drm:radeon_cs_ioctl [radeon]] *ERROR* Invalid command stream !
That went away after restarting with exa acceleration. I'm also noticing
some instability of a different sort on another system with a 4k monitor
using the nouveau driver and glamor acceleration, so I'm wondering if I
shouldn't disable glamor on that system too.
