The vlc failed with the messages that appear below. Based on these messages and a search on the web, I also did yum install qt4 yum install qt5 yum install libxkbcommon All of the above yum install commands completed without failures. Any suggestions on what to do (e.g., are there one or more configuration files for running, not building, vlc or whatever that need to be changed?
