What specific product are you talking about ?
If you are talking about a product that rebuilds packages from source then
the audience that these releases are intended for do not need to rebuild
source. These users expect all the packages to be built already.
So no we have not looked at it and will not as it is not a requirement of
our users.

SL 3.0.x and 4.x both have apt for rpms. But apt does not do well wi=
th=20
multiarch releases and it is not maintained as much as it used to be =
so we=20
took it out for SL 5.
