Exactly the same issues crop up at CentOS and CentOS tries to package up "extras" or "plus" repos to satisfy these user needs. Packaging such "extras", "plus" etc bits would be something that SL and CentOS could perhaps indeed share together. Most probably these repos can be used directly on SL (haven't tried it myself, perhaps someone else has and can share positive/negative experience with SL/CentOS compatibility on this sector) -- Axel.Thimm at ATrpms.net
